Prudent Environmental Investments is our specialist ESG investment arm. We have expertise in advising our clients on investment in areas representing good Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) policies. There has been a growing interest in this specialist area, and it is vital to ensure that any decisions are based on solid foundations.

At PEI, we actively seek out good opportunities in the ESG space for our clients. We also recognise and follow the importance of selecting investments with excellent track records in their respective fields. Our aim is to seek out and provide our clients with both educational and insightful information about the growing area that is ESG, how this is impacting investment decisions and the best options for their own investment.

We have closely aligned our ethos with three of the UN Sustainability Goals. We feel these guide our work to help create a more sustainable environment through identifying opportunities for investors.

Ivor has over 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry. He is also passionate about climate change and climate action. By launching Prudent Environmental Investments, he has been able to marry these two in a way that can promote change both in his business and for his clients.

PEI, launched in 2019, is a specialist arm of Prudent Financial which deals with ESG investing. Prior to establishing Prudent Financial in 2017, Ivor worked with Independent Financial Consultants (IFC) from 2006 to 2017, where he was the co-owner and director of the company.

Ivor has received the Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA) diploma. This is a gold-standard professional designation in financial advice for those working in Irish banking and financial services. It is an essential qualification for a financial advisor. He has also studied at the Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) with a diploma in marketing and gained a certificate in Training and Continuous Education at Maynooth University.

As he saw a growing interest in environmental investing through his work, his own attention to the area developed. He expanded his formal learning in the area by completing an Environmental Studies course to gain further knowledge and the skills to implement current best practices of environmental management. This also allowed Ivor to understand new ways to design and implement environment policies and strategies that will make a real contribution to the way we live.
